Menstrual irregularities
Irregular Periods and Amenorrhea
Your menstrual cycle and flow are among the key indicators of women’s health.
Taking hormone medication
calls for caution.
Birth control pills (hormone medication) may not address the underlying ovulatory dysfunction.
Without timely care, this can become a contributing factor in infertility.

Because these pills suppress ovulation for contraception,
long-term use may be associated with lower ovarian function and infertility.

Declining ovulatory function can have
an adverse effect on the menstrual cycle.
